Sergeant First Class Ramos is a native of Bronx, NY. He entered the US Army on July 13, 2013 as a Correctional Specialist and attended one station unit training in Ft. Leonardwood, MO. Upon Completion, SFC Ramos was assigned to his first duty station in Fort Leavenworth, KS on November 20, 2013. SFC Ramos has served in every position available to a Correctional Officer from Tower Watch to Senior Escort NCO for the 15th Military Police Brigade. He also served as a Platoon Sergeant in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, where he developed and trained 22 Troops in performing detainee operations. SFC Ramos Reclassed to a Human Resource Specialist in June of 2022, where he was sent to Ft. Jackson, SC. Soon after, He was sent to Ft. Bragg, NC to take over as the Postal Officer for the one of the post offices, supplying services to the entire installation. Furthermore, He served as the S1 NCOIC for the 2nd largest Battalion in the Army, located at Ft. Bragg.

SFC Ramos’s assignments include, but are not limited to, 256th Military Police Company Ft. Leavenworth KS, 127th Military Police Company Ft. Carson, CO, 165th Military Police Company Ft. Leavenworth, KS, 18th Human Resource Company Ft. Bragg, NC, 125th Adjutant General Terminal Guantanamo Bay, CU, 189th Division Sustainment Support Battalion Ft. Bragg, NC. SFC Ramos has been deployed to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba (3 rotations).

SFC Ramos’s military education includes, the Basic Leaders Course, the Advanced Leaders Course, the Senior Leaders Course, SHARP Foundations Course, Masters Resilience Trainers Course, Equal Opportunity Leaders Course, Unit Prevention Leaders Course, Non-Lethal Weapons Instructor Course, Postal Officer Course, Postal Supervisor Course, IPPS-A Administrators Course Digital Training and Management System Course, Crime and Criminal Analysis Course, Anti-Terrorism Officer Basic Course, Combat Life Saver Course, Unit Armorer Course and Bus Drivers Course.

SFC Ramos’s awards include the Joint Service Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal 4th Award, Army Achievement Medal 6th Award, Army Good Conduct Medal 4th Award, National Defense Service Medal, Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal 2nd Award, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Service Medal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon 3rd Award, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon 2nd Award, Army Superior Unit Award, and the Meritorious Unit Commendation. He is also a member of the Honorable Sergeant Audie Murphy Club.

SFC Ramos has been married for 14 years to his wife Hanna from New York, NY. They have 2 children Michael(20) and Mikah(13).
