MSG Andrew Wolfe, a native of Madison, Wisconsin enlisted in the United States Army in 2005 as an Infantryman and attended One Station Unit Training at Fort Benning, GA. His first assignment was with the newly formed 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne) 25th Infantry Division, 3rd Battalion 509th Infantry (Airborne) Able Company at Fort Richardson, Alaska. He served in the 3rd Battalion 509th Infantry (Airborne) from 2005 thru 2011 and held every enlisted position from Riflemen to Platoon Sergeant. He deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom [2006 thru 2007] and Operation Enduring Freedom [2009 thru 2010]. In 2011 he was reassigned to 1st Battalion 507th Parachute Infantry Regiment Fort Benning, GA where he held the position of Instructor/ Writer at the United States Army Pathfinder School. He instructed Air Traffic Control procedures, Sling Load Operations, Air Assault Planning, Pathfinder Employment, and Drop Zone Operations. In 2014 he returned to the 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne) 25th Infantry Division at Joint Base Elmendorf – Richardson, Alaska and was assigned to 1st Battalion 501st Infantry (Airborne) Comanche Company. He Served 18 months as the Platoon Sergeant with Comanche Company and was given the honor to be selected as the Platoon Sergeant for the Battalions Reconnaissance Platoon for 15 months. He was again selected as the Platoon Sergeant in Apache Company during a deployment to Operation Freedoms Sentinel [2017 thru 2018]. Upon his return he was assigned to the United States Army Cadet Command, 3rd ROTC Brigade, Badger Battalion University of Wisconsin – Madison as a Military Science and Tactics Instructor.

MSG Wolfe’s military education includes the Warrior Leader Course, Advanced Leaders Course, Senior Leaders Course, Airborne School, Jumpmaster School, Air Assault School, Pathfinder School, Ranger School, Heavy Weapons Leaders Course, Cold Weather Leaders Course, NATO Allied Winter Warfare Course, SHARP Foundation Course, Army Basic Instructors Course, Airload Planners Course, and the Common Faculty Development – Instructor Course.
